Full Stack Engineer, Senior - Oracle Fusion Financials

About the Role

Stellarus, part of the Ascendiun Family of Companies, is seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Developer or Workday professional with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on ERP development experience. The ideal candidate has deep functional and technical expertise across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Cash Management/Operations, along with strong integration and reporting skills. Experience or interest in transitioning to Workday Financials or other modern cloud ERP platforms is strongly valued. Additional exposure to Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance solutions within Oracle Fusion Financials, with a focus on GL, AP, and Cash Operations modules.
  • Build and maintain integrations, including REST/SOAP web services, FBDI, OTBI, BI Publisher, and other Oracle Cloud tools.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes, ensuring system stability and data integrity.
  • Participate in ERP transformation initiatives, including migration or cross-training into Workday Financials or similar cloud ERP systems.
  • Develop technical documentation, solution designs, test scripts, and deployment plans.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Procurement, IT, and external vendors.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, automation, and optimization of financial processes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers and functional analysts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
  • BA/BS or equivalent IT experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as an ERP developer, including at least 3 years’ experience working with Oracle Fusion Financials.
  • 1 year of experience with Workday preferred.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle functions: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Cash Management/Cash Operations.
  • Proficiency with Oracle Cloud tools: FBDI and ADFdi, OTBI, and BI Publisher.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle) and/or NoSQL databases and RESTful integrations.
  • Experience building backend services and APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Strong SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting capabilities.
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial accounting processes and best practices.
  • Experience with data conversions, integrations, and customizations in cloud ERP environments.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design robust technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability or strong interest in transitioning to Workday Financials or similar ERP platforms preferred.
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems or modules preferred.
  • Exposure to Workday Financials, including EIB, Studio, or Prism Analytics preferred.
  • Knowledge of Procurement, AR, or other Oracle Financials modules preferred.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments preferred.
  • Certifications in Oracle Cloud or Workday preferred.

Schedule

This role follows a hybrid workplace model, requiring in-office presence two days each week for most teams. Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location, out-of-state employees, and those in certain member-facing roles will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need. The company reserves the right to adjust in-office requirements as needed.

Pay

Pay range for California: $102,740.00 to $154,220.00.

Pay range for Bay Area: $115,816.00 to $173,848.00.

Salaries are based on candidate experience, location, and current employee salaries for similar roles.
