Full-Stack Engineer (Boston)

About the role

We are seeking talented software engineers to contribute to the development and scaling of a healthcare platform that simplifies shopping for various types of care. Our platform offers upfront cash and insurance prices for virtual and in-person visits, prescriptions, labs, imaging, and other services.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a seamless and beautiful consumer healthcare product
• Deliver a delightful patient experience while tackling complex operational challenges
• Write product requirements documents and perform SQL analysis to ensure feature performance
• Own quality assurance tasks and be comfortable with ambiguous environments
• Work closely with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building web applications as a full-stack engineer
• Experience with modern infrastructure tools and programming languages
• Proficiency in a modern tech stack, though not necessarily the one we are currently using (AWS, Ruby on Rails, NextJS)
• Comfortable operating in environments of significant ambiguity
• Interest in the American healthcare system and its complexities, including integration with EHRs and revenue cycle management

Pay

Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $225,000 annually, plus equity options.

Schedule

The role is based in either our San Francisco office (near Market and Spear St) or our Boston office (Central Square, Cambridge). We expect our team to work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week, and ideally 4 or 5.
