About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a member of Roboflow, you will be responsible for a wide range of projects that contribute to the development and improvement of our core product, as well as other initiatives that enhance our services and processes.

Responsibilities

Create filtering interfaces for users to mix and match images based on metadata.
Expand our annotation tool to support new functionalities such as polygonal annotations and image segmentation.
Integrate the core app with external APIs for tasks like outsourcing annotation tasks and analyzing deployed model performance.
Streamline our onboarding flow and develop deeper integrations with our other products like Roboflow Universe and our REST API.
Optimize speed and scalability of our systems.

Requirements

While we are looking for a technical generalist, candidates should ideally have experience with JavaScript and Node.js, as well as familiarity with Python, Firebase, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), AWS, Docker, and TensorFlow.js. Experience with other programming languages and technologies is a plus.

Qualifications

Experience with web development frameworks and tools is beneficial, as is a strong understanding of computer vision and machine learning concepts. Passion for technology and a willingness to learn new skills are essential.

Skills

Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are required. Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies is preferred.

Pay

The target compensation for this role is $165,000 - $195,000 base.

Schedule

Roboflow operates primarily during daytime hours in the US and has a flexible schedule to accommodate remote work. We provide opportunities for in-person collaboration and support remote team members.
