Full Stack Engineer
About the role
Our client is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their team, supporting multiple advisor-facing trading applications that enable financial advisors to execute and manage investment transactions for their clients. These applications handle functionality such as equity order placement, mutual fund trading, ETF trading, options trading, securities trading, and other investment and trading-related transactions.
The environment is high-impact and business-critical, with little room for error due to the severity and visibility of the applications. This position is W-2 only.
Core Responsibilities
- Own and support several trading applications
- Production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Application enhancements and maintenance
- Full-stack development across backend and frontend technologies
- Work closely with team members for knowledge transfer and collaboration
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on Full Stack Development background (60% Coding, 40% Troubleshooting, Support, and Analysis)
- .NET / C#
- Angular
- SQL
- AWS
- Microservices architecture
- Kafka
- Production support experience (80% Production Support / Enhancements, 20% New Development)
- Trading and/or Investment Management domain experience
Candidates who have supported or built trading platforms, brokerage applications, wealth management systems, or advisor-facing investment tools will be strongly prioritized, with experience in equities, mutual funds, ETFs, options, and securities trading.

Work Environment
Location: Austin, TX; Fort Mill, SC; or San Diego, CA, with a hybrid work environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $70.00 and $85.00. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
