Job Title: Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

Emporium AI is an early-stage, research-driven product company building the infrastructure for autonomous AI-native commerce, including generative storefronts, dynamic pricing, and conversational checkout.

Responsibilities

• Build the operating system for AI-native commerce
• Owning end-to-end features across TypeScript, React, and Node.js, moving from design to deployment within weeks
• Collaborate directly with live partners in hospitality and e-commerce, bridging the gap between LLM architectures and real-world buyer intent
• Design and ship end-to-end features across the entire stack, including the AI layer, commerce logic, and user-facing React interfaces
• Architect scalable systems using TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL to power agent-to-agent markets and conversational checkout flows

Requirements

• 3–5 years of professional engineering experience with a strong command of TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
• Proven track record of shipping consumer or B2B products end-to-end, taking full ownership from initial concept through final delivery
• Thrives in early-stage environments characterized by ambiguity and values first-principles thinking to solve complex infrastructure problems

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)

Skills
