Full-Stack Engineer (AI + Real-Time Video)

About the role

Cognistack is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing AI startup building next-generation wearable AI products. We are looking for 3 engineers to own the product layer around an AI core, building end-to-end applications that power industrial wearable AI devices. This is a 0→1 startup opportunity where you will influence architecture, ship production software, and work across the entire stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Build real-time video streaming pipelines with low latency.
• Develop backend APIs and scalable data services.
• Create mobile and desktop applications for AI-powered smart glasses.
• Integrate AI/LLM features for production users.
• Deliver end-to-end customer-facing features from idea to deployment.

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of Full-Stack Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python.
• Experience shipping products from 0→1.
• Experience with real-time video, streaming, WebRTC, or low-latency systems.
• Startup or Founding Engineer experience preferred.
• Comfortable making architecture decisions independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• AI/LLM product experience.
• React Native / Mobile development experience.
• Experience at startups, Tesla, SpaceX, Anduril, top YC companies, or relevant teams at Meta, Apple, Google, or Snap.
• Strong design and UX instincts.

Visa and Location Requirements
