About the role

As a Full Stack Engineer at Alta Daily, you will build an AI-powered styling platform that solves the problem of choice paralysis in online shopping. Working directly with the founding team in NYC, you'll own features end-to-end using React, TypeScript, and Python, shaping the product's technical architecture from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Develop polished, consumer-facing user interfaces using React and Next.js that demonstrate the power of proprietary AI recommendation models.
  • Architect and scale backend systems using Python and Node.js to support real-time personal styling interactions for a growing user base.
  • Collaborate across design and growth disciplines to ship features rapidly, moving from initial concept to production-ready code in a high-ownership environment.

Requirements

  • Has at least 2+ years of professional full-stack experience with a strong foundation in TypeScript, React, and Python-based backends.
  • Demonstrates a builder's mindset, thriving in ambiguous environments where they can take full ownership of features and solve complex engineering problems.
  • Is based in or willing to relocate to NYC for in-person collaboration and has a passion for building delightful, AI-driven consumer products.
