Full Stack Developer with Security Clearance
About the role
The Senior Full Stack Developer position at Northstrat Incorporated is aimed at individuals with extensive experience in both back-end and front-end development, particularly in Java, C++, Rust, or advanced Python, and proficiency in JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, and Node.js. The role requires a strong analytical skillset, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and experience in designing and implementing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production systems running on AWS
- Design and implement large complex systems
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience with a master’s in computer science, or 8+ years with a bachelor’s in computer science
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a government clearance
- Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, C++, Rust, or advanced Python
- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks including React, Angular, and Node.js
- Experience with data structures
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience designing and implementing comprehensive unit and integration tests
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with version control systems (Git)

Pay
The pay range for this position is estimated at $118,675 per year, but actual salary can vary based on factors such as location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
Schedule
Northstrat offers a flexible work schedule where employees are required to work an average of 8 hours per weekday over the course of a month. Flexibility is encouraged to accommodate personal and professional needs.
