Full Stack Developer - React / Node / AWS

About the role

We're hiring a Full-Stack Developer for a 100% remote, contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing technology company focused on building consumer-facing digital products. You'll work across a modern TypeScript stack, helping deliver scalable applications while leveraging AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong React, Node.js, and AWS experience who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working in a collaborative environment, and taking ownership of production systems.

Responsibilities

• Work across a modern TypeScript stack, helping deliver scalable applications
• Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality
• Build and maintain production web applications
• Evaluate and improve AI-generated code
• Solve complex technical challenges

• Take ownership of production systems

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional TypeScript development experience
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, and Node.js
• Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, IAM, etc.)
• Experience building and maintaining production web applications
• Strong understanding of software architecture and testing best practices
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Qualifications

• Desired but not required: CI/CD pipeline experience, Infrastructure as Code experience, mobile development exposure (iOS/Android), familiarity with security or compliance frameworks, experience in startup or small-team environments
