About the role

The Full Stack Developer will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of advanced technology solutions supporting critical government missions. This role combines modern software engineering with artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities to build secure, scalable applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of secure, mission-focused applications by combining front-end, back-end, cloud, and AI/ML development expertise.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack web applications supporting technology evaluation, data management, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Build secure and scalable dashboards with interactive interfaces, data visualizations, and media-rich components.
  • Design and implement backend services, APIs, data models, and processing workflows to support complex application requirements.
  • Develop front-end components using modern frameworks to deliver responsive and user-friendly experiences.
  • Build and maintain real-time data ingestion pipelines, integrations, and automated workflows.
  • Implement automation pipelines, including configuration management, branching strategies, and artifact repositories.
  • Collaborate within Agile development teams by participating in sprint planning, reviews, testing, and iterative improvements.
  • Support cloud-based development environments and modern software architectures, including microservices and containerized solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively with engineering teams, leadership, and government stakeholders.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have experience developing modern software applications, strong full-stack engineering capabilities, and familiarity with AI-enabled technologies.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in technical and mission-driven environments.
  • U.S. citizenship is required. Active Secret clearance is strongly preferred; candidates must be eligible to obtain a Department of War Secret clearance.
  • Experience developing full-stack web applications across front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as Python, Node.js, Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms and development tools such as GitHub or artifact management solutions.
  • Experience with real-time data processing, integrations, and automated pipelines.
  • Experience with data visualization libraries and dashboard development.
  • Experience working within secure cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting Agile software development methodologies.
  • Experience developing applications using large language models (LLMs) and AI/ML technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design, build, and improve complex software solutions.
