About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Princeton, NJ, with a hybrid work model that prefers onsite presence three days a week. This role offers the flexibility to consider regionally remote candidates. As a key member of Theradex Oncology, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications and data-driven solutions that support clinical trial operations. This position combines hands-on technical development with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior developers and guiding best practices across projects. You will play a vital role in translating complex business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards such as GxP and 21 CFR Part 11. Your expertise will directly impact the development of cancer therapies and the advancement of clinical research initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a full stack developer
- At least 3 years of experience leading development teams focused on building on-premises and cloud applications
- Proficiency in core stack technologies including C#/ASP.NET, .NET, Angular, SQL, NoSQL, and AWS
- Recent hands-on experience with Angular in project settings
- Experience redeveloping on-prem web applications for optimization in AWS Cloud environments
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end cloud software development projects, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and support
- Experience building AWS-based web applications and integrations using services such as CloudWatch, SES, S3, ECR, ECS, and Lambda functions
- UI/UX expertise with Blazor or Angular frameworks
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Extensive experience managing code through GitHub, including GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience with Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of AWS environment configuration using Terraform, Fargate, and related tools (preferred)
- Experience in CRO or pharmaceutical environments with knowledge of regulated clinical data applications
- Understanding of GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance standards
- Experience migrating entire on-prem data centers to AWS Cloud (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead the application development team, overseeing technical delivery across multiple projects while actively contributing as a senior full stack developer
- Design and implement scalable, secure frontend and backend components, including APIs, services, and user workflows, following best practices in architecture and coding standards
- Integrate application security best practices into all phases of development, including code scanning, dependency management, and vulnerability remediation
- Collaborate with product owners, technical analysts, project managers, platform engineering, and analytics teams to translate complex business requirements into practical technical solutions
- Own end-to-end technical solutions, encompassing architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
- Establish and enforce coding standards, automated testing protocols, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance software quality and release frequency
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conducting code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices
- Coordinate with Solutions Architects, DevOps, and Data teams to develop scalable and maintainable technical designs aligned with business needs
- Ensure all development activities comply with SDLC, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations
- Design secure integrations with external clinical and operational systems to facilitate seamless data exchange
- Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to cloud infrastructure performance, security posture, and cost optimization
- Stay current with AWS Cloud development tools and incorporate new technologies to improve system capabilities
- Manage project timelines efficiently, providing accurate effort estimations and meeting deadlines
- Adapt to evolving project requirements, priorities, and schedules with flexibility and professionalism
- Document technical designs, processes, and best practices to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team
