Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to assist with application modernization initiatives and support a growing development backlog. The consultant will initially support a small application project and a Power Platform application rewrite into React/.NET technologies.

About the role

The developer will work closely with other developers, architects, and business stakeholders to modernize and develop enterprise applications. Future work is expected to include modernization of approximately 20 PHP applications and 100 PHP reports. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the full stack, including React front-end development and .NET API development. Candidates should be collaborative, eager to learn, and comfortable working within established development standards and Agile sprint cycles.

This individual will initially work closely with the internal team onsite to gain knowledge of applications, processes, and business requirements before transitioning into a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and rewrite legacy business applications, including transitioning Power Platform applications to .NET solutions
• Develop React front-end and .NET API components
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment
• Support enterprise application development, including financial, billing, accounting, or project administration workflows
• Implement approval workflows, data exports, and automated email functionality
• Utilize source control (GitHub), deployment pipelines, and application release processes

Requirements

• Experience with React, .NET, C#, and full stack development
• Proficiency in SQL, API development, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Canvas applications
• Familiarity with Azure application services and DevOps practices
• Experience working in an enterprise development environment
• Background in construction, engineering, or project-based organizations is a plus
• Intermediate-level experience in application development and architecture

Pay

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00 per hour. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, and internal equity.

Schedule

This is a contract position based in Kansas City, MO. The role is initially fully onsite to gain knowledge of applications and processes before transitioning to a hybrid schedule.
