Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications supporting mission objectives.
- Collaborate with the lead developer to design, implement, and enhance application functionality.
- Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and modern web frameworks.
- Build and maintain responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and external software systems.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Deploy and support containerized applications within AWS cloud environments.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and Agile development activities to continuously improve software quality and performance.
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience developing applications with Python.
- Hands-on experience with one or more Python web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Experience developing unit and integration tests for software applications.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including familiarity with SQLAlchemy or other ORM technologies.
- Experience developing front-end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Experience building, deploying, and supporting containerized applications in AWS cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration technologies.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
