About the role
Contract-to-hire position for a major financial firm. Hybrid schedule in Newark, NJ — three days per week on-site.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js (hooks, state management, component-based architecture) for building responsive, scalable UIs
- Solid backend development experience using Node.js (Express/NestJS) and RESTful API design
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across the full stack (frontend + backend)
- Experience designing and integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda)
- Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and deployment to AWS ECS (or EKS)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in AWS environments
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (VPC, IAM, load balancing, auto scaling)
- Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL) and query optimization
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch)
Pay
$55–$62 per hour, depending on experience.
