Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust software solutions using JVM-based languages.
- Engage in Test Driven Development and pair programming to ensure code quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement services that enhance product data management.
- Contribute to all aspects of software development and delivery, ensuring adherence to agile methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Skills
- Proficiency in a JVM-based programming language such as Java or Groovy.
- Strong understanding of Test Driven Development principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with service development using REST, HTTP, and JSON.
- Familiarity with the Spring Framework and NoSQL databases like Cassandra or Redis.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Proficiency in Linux/bash and open-source software.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React or GraphQL (a plus).
