Full Stack Developer

This position is located in Elk Grove, CA and falls under our Corpay Payables line of business.

About the role

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be involved in all aspects of the product development cycle from product design, implementation, to deployment. Our software runs on Java, Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, and ReactJS, and we also manage an Android and iOS mobile app. Our platform is built on AWS, Heroku, and other cloud services. You will work closely with other senior developers to grow and improve the reliability of our software. You should be a quick learner, self-starter, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and regularly collaborate with development teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop software using one or more technologies: AngularJS, ReactJS, Java, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Redis, RESTful API
• Estimate effort and time for development
• Participate in code review and testing
• Assist with troubleshooting tickets and ad hoc requests
• Deliver clear and complete technical specifications documents

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a related field
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or comparable relevant experience
• Hands-on software development experience
• Experience in documenting technical specifications and requirements
• Ability to multitask and work in a nimble, fast-paced development environment
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently and meet aggressive goals

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $140,000 – $175,000 based on the candidate’s work location. This range reflects a good faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final offer will be determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable market conditions. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and will be confirmed during the hiring process.
