Full Stack Developer

About the role

As a full stack developer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment. This role is more than just coding. As a lead full stack developer at Booz Allen, you’ll oversee a team as they learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with programming languages, including Java, Python, JavaScript, and HTML
• 2+ years of experience in software development with basic programming technologies, tools, or web development stacks
• Experience with DevOps tools, including GitHub
• Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED

Skills

• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with Agile methodology, extreme programming, software engineering, product management, and software products
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• Experience mentoring or supervising employees within a collaborative team environment
• Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• Experience working with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

To support engagement and effective communication, employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings. Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
