Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular.
  • Build reusable, responsive, accessible, and high-performing Angular components.
  • Develop and maintain Angular modules, services, directives, pipes, forms, guards, and routing.
  • Implement complex user interfaces based on business and technical requirements.
  • Integrate Angular applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services.
  • Manage application state using Angular services, RxJS, NgRx, or similar state-management approaches.
  • Write clean, secure, efficient, and maintainable TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Optimize Angular applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and browser compatibility.
  • Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for Angular components and services.
  • Develop server-side applications, APIs, business logic, background processes, and system integrations.
  • Design and develop database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and database scripts.
  • Develop data-access components and integrate applications with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Analyze query execution plans and resolve database performance issues.
  • Maintain data integrity, security, transaction management, and error-handling standards.
  • Troubleshoot front-end, back-end, API, database, integration, and application-performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and architectural guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Full-Stack Lead on technical designs, development estimates, sprint planning, and issue resolution.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into reliable software solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation for application components, APIs, database structures, integrations, and deployment processes.
  • Support production deployments, application releases, incident resolution, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Follow organizational privacy, security, accessibility, and regulatory requirements throughout the software-development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Three or more years of professional full-stack or front-end software-development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise applications with Angular.
  • Advanced proficiency with: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 or SCSS, RxJS.
  • Experience developing reusable Angular components, services, directives, pipes, guards, and modules.
  • Strong understanding of Angular architecture, dependency injection, lifecycle hooks, routing, and lazy loading.
  • Experience with reactive forms, form validation, and dynamic user-interface workflows.
  • Experience integrating Angular applications with RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and user-interface best practices.
  • Experience with Angular testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress.
  • Experience using Git or another source-control platform.
  • Experience with one or more back-end technologies, such as C#, Java, Node.js, Python.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and database scripts.
  • Experience with relational database design, normalization, transactions, constraints, and referential integrity.
  • Experience troubleshooting database performance using execution plans, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
  • Experience integrating applications with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL through an ORM or database-access framework.
  • Experience with NgRx or another enterprise state-management library.
  • Experience with Angular Material, Bootstrap, PrimeNG, or similar user-interface component libraries.
  • Experience upgrading and migrating Angular applications between major versions.
  • Familiarity with monorepo tools such as Nx.
  • Experience with micro-front-end architecture.
  • Experience with healthcare standards and transactions, including HIPAA EDI, HL7, FHIR, 270/271, 276/277, 278, 834, 835, or 837.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, automated deployments, Docker, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of secure coding, authentication, authorization, encryption, audit logging, and role-based access control.
  • Experience with reporting, data integration, ETL, or batch-processing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional software-development experience in healthcare, managed care, health insurance, a health plan, a provider organization, or a third-party administrator.
  • Familiarity with healthcare operations, terminology, data, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with EZ-CAP or a similar healthcare claims-administration platform.
  • Experience developing applications, interfaces, queries, reports, or batch processes connected to EZ-CAP.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, extracts, or operational queries using Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience migrating data or database objects between Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Data Studio, pgAdmin, or similar database tools.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, Hibernate, Sequelize, TypeORM, Dapper, or another ORM or data-access framework.
  • Experience with NgRx or another enterprise state-management library.
