About the role
We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support our mission of improving health and human services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with expertise in modern frameworks and cloud services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products, ensure code quality through testing practices, and contribute to innovative projects that make a tangible difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and related technologies
- Implement and optimize database schemas and queries within SQL Server or similar relational databases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Utilize version control systems such as Git and manage deployment pipelines through Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
- Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability, following TDD practices
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to best coding practices
- Leverage cloud services, particularly AWS serverless architectures, to deploy and manage applications
- Stay updated on emerging technologies such as AI-assisted development tools and incorporate them into projects where applicable
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team and organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET 5+
- 3+ years of experience working with Angular 16+ and Typescript
- 3+ years of experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
- 2+ years of experience using Git, Azure DevOps, or similar version control and CI/CD tools
- 1+ years of experience with AWS serverless or comparable cloud services
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented (OO) design patterns and Domain Driven Design (DDD)
- Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience developing unit tests and practicing test-driven development (TDD)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as AWS Q or Kiro (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Demonstrated capability to design and develop customer solutions and communicate technical designs clearly
