About the role

Develop and enhance application features using Java, React, and Python. Participate in the development of APIs, services, and user interface components. Assist with integration efforts across enterprise platforms and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance application features using Java, React, and Python.
• Participate in the development of APIs, services, and user interface components.
• Assist with integration efforts across enterprise platforms and services.
• Write unit tests and support integration testing activities.
• Troubleshoot defects and resolve production issues under guidance from senior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline activities and DevOps practices.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of Java development using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• 1+ years of React development experience.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of REST API development and integration.
• Basic SQL development experience including queries, joins, and stored procedures.
• Understanding of software testing principles.
• Experience using GitHub source control.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Desired Skills

• Experience with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools.
• Exposure to microservices architecture.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Exposure to Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting financial services applications.
• Experience with risk, compliance, workflow, or reporting platforms.

Pay

$37.01 - 40.50 per hour
