About the role

The Digital Software Engineer Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, coordinating and contributing to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, requiring analytical skills to filter, prioritize, and validate information from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required, along with the ability to assume informal/formal leadership roles within teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners to analyze user stories, ensuring they are clear, concise, and technically feasible.
  • Translate user stories into solutions that provide an excellent client experience and align with Digital’s architectural roadmap.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and take up challenging POCs with new technology.
  • Prepare detailed technical designs that account for security, resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Code, test, debug, implement, and support complex financial applications.
  • Collaborate with onshore/offshore resources, ensuring adherence to processes and standards.
  • Remain abreast of emerging Digital technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts for requirement/user story validation, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing.
  • Implement Test and Behavior Driven Development as part of Shift-Left Strategy.
  • Code and debug complex financial applications.
  • Accountable for SDLC auditable artifacts – SIA, Code Reviews, Test Plans, and Exit Reports.
  • Organize/manage multiple priorities and projects with flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration and work effort, along with confidence level and foreseeable dependencies.
  • Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing risks/issues, and taking corrective action as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Understand the role of the engineering team within the SDLC and effectively advocate for the best possible customer experience of product quality within those parameters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud computing, Microservices/APIs, private cloud platforms like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, and distributed caching like Gemfire/Redis.
  • SpringBoot, RESTful, JSON experience is a must.
  • 3+ years of experience in containerized platforms like Kubernetes, Docker.
  • 3+ years of experience on Cloud Platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD Pipeline Process & Tools, and Config as Code.
  • 3+ years of experience with Java, HTML5/CSS3, AngularJS, and/or experience with Android/iOS Development platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience with NoSQL DB (MongoDB, Couchbase) or Oracle DB.
  • Experience with service discovery options, Resiliency4j/Hystrix.
  • Experience with GenAI tools is desirable.
  • Familiar with BitBucket, GIT, etc. for source control.
  • Experience with Jenkins for build and deployment.
  • Automation tools – JUnit/TestNG frameworks, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber.
  • Experience in Technology Development lifecycle and applications deployment.
  • Experience with Test and Behavior Driven Development.
  • Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Agile and Agile-hybrid environments.
  • Experience in the Financial industry is a plus.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Business-related field, or comparable work experience.

Pay

Full-time salary range: $107,120.00 - $160,680.00.

Primary location: Irving, Texas, United States.
