About the role

The Berlin School of Library and Information Science of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Deutsches Zentrum für Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsforschung GmbH invite applications for the joint appointment of a Department of Social and Political Sciences of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences for a Full Professorship for "Science Studies" (W3) in conjunction with a position as Head of Research Area "Research System and Science Dynamics" at the DZHW.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research in the field of Science Studies
• Teach courses in the Department of Social and Political Sciences
• Lead and contribute to the Research Area "Research System and Science Dynamics"

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field
• Proven track record of successful research in Science Studies
• Experience in teaching and curriculum development
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

• Strong academic credentials
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of current trends and methodologies in Science Studies

Skills
