Fulfillment Specialist

About the role

Our pharmacy micro-fulfillment centers are the pharmacies of the future. These facilities use innovative, robotic technology in a central pharmacy environment to dispense and ship a variety of prescriptions to Walgreens retail stores, reaching thousands of patients with life-saving medications each day.

Responsibilities

• Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship prescriptions to customers.
• Track all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure inventory accountability.
• Verify orders and ensure entry into the inventory management system.
• Operate a clean and safe work environment, maintaining orderly and debris-free areas in the Fulfillment Center.
• Maintain quality standards set by management.

Requirements

• Willing to obtain and maintain registration in good standing with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy, if required by state law.
• Fluent in reading and speaking English.
• Willing to work a flexible shift.
• Able to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to perform tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of experience in a retail, centralized services, or fulfillment center environment (preferred).
• At least 6 months of experience operating motorized material handling equipment (preferred).
• At least 6 months of experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning (preferred).
• At least 6 months of experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system (preferred).

Pay

Hourly salary range: $17.40 – $23.40. The actual hourly salary offered will depend on factors including geography, skills, abilities, education, experience, and other relevant considerations.
