Fulfillment Specialist
International has an exciting opportunity for a Fulfillment Specialist to join our Commercial Group at our corporate headquarters in Lisle, IL. The role focuses on managing all parts activities required to bring customer-owned vehicles back into service, ensuring minimal downtime through effective communication and coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage order entry, processing, and shipping.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to keep orders moving and meet customer service standards.
- Plan capacity for build-to-stock and build-to-order needs.
- Maintain inventory levels that meet demand while controlling costs.
- Review demand and supply data to manage schedules and order backlogs.
- Respond quickly, stay organized, and prioritize customer needs.
- Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
- Work with suppliers to improve on-time delivery and resolve delays.
- Create backup plans, including alternate suppliers and delivery options.
- Communicate supply issues, risks, and recovery plans to Parts Management and Purchasing.
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts to drive results, escalating delays as needed, documenting root causes, and establishing action plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of supply chain experience OR Master’s degree and no experience OR at least 3 years of supply chain experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee).
- No employment-related work sponsorship (e.g., H-1B status) will be provided for this position.
Skills
- Knowledge of Parts Systems (TOLAS, PeopleSoft, etc.).
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, & Power BI and working with multiple systems.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer service driven.
- Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to develop creative solutions and process improvements.
- Negotiating experience with recognizable results.
- Confident self-starter that drives for results under minimal supervision.
- Strong team player that exhibits managerial courage and can effectively cope with change.
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain concepts.
- Relates well to all kinds of people inside and outside of the organization.
- Familiarity with commercial truck/bus/diesel engine products and global aftermarket.
