Morrisville, NC – Full‑Time, onsite. FLSA status: hourly non‑exempt.
Summary
The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for leading daily fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities while ensuring products and materials are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. This role combines hands‑on operational support with leadership responsibilities and serves as a key link between fulfillment team members and management to meet customer requirements, quality standards, and delivery commitments.
Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day fulfillment, warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations.
- Provide coaching, support, and direction to fulfillment team members.
- Ensure incoming materials and freight are inspected for quality, accuracy, and damage.
- Verify outbound shipments are completed accurately and delivered on time.
- Monitor workflow and address operational issues to support productivity goals.
- Partner with supervisors and managers to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Assist with scheduling, attendance tracking, timekeeping, and department reporting.
- Maintain operational records, training documentation, and fulfillment reports.
- Support employee training and onboarding efforts.
- Promote compliance with quality, safety, security, and operational standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer‑service performance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 4+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing.
- Previous leadership or lead experience preferred.
- Experience working in an ISO‑regulated environment is a plus.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Customer‑focused mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and operational systems.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
- Basic mathematical aptitude.
