About the Role

The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for labeling, packaging, or shipping products in a production-scale medical cannabis facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality standards by creating labels, calculating cannabinoids, maintaining printers, and programs
• Reviews strain names, types, variables, and overall quality of labels
• Keeps daily inventories of all labels created, reprinted, used, wasted, and rejects
• Restocks all inventory such as printheads, ink, and labels
• Completes daily print jobs in a timely manner while maintaining high label quality
• Documents labels approved and completes daily logs, summarizing re-works
• Keeps printer equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs
• Properly packages various types of medical marijuana derivatives into appropriate containers accurately and efficiently
• Labels containers with the appropriate labels
• Packages products in totes for stores
• Inspects product to ensure all labels are present
• Organizes Finished Goods racks
• Pulls orders for Packaging department
• Moves work orders to storage locations
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work in a production environment and meet production goals
• Ability to focus, stay on task, and continuously demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
• Working knowledge of manufacturing/shipping operations, typically from 1-2 years of experience
• Ability to read and understand procedures and follow verbal and written instructions
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing-type machinery
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong communication skills
• Great attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 21 years of age (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV)
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
• Must be able to work seated/standing for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Must be able to use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks
• Must be able to handle organic matter daily
• Able to wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)
• Able to be exposed to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
• Must have visual acuity with/without job aids to perform activities such as reading, viewing a computer terminal, and visual inspection involving small parts/details
• Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (moderate noise)
