Fuels Quality Control Manager

SES Energy Services LLC (SES Energy) is growing! We are seeking a Fuels Quality Control Manager to join our dynamic SES Energy team, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH). Responsibilities

• Oversee quality control procedures on fuels projects, maintenance activities, and service orders, including coordination and review of third-party inspections and material testing.
• Work with the Project Manager(s), Maintenance Managers, and Service Order Managers to create current and relevant quality control measures and project-specific QC requirements.
• Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
• Perform and follow the USACE 3-phase inspection process.
• Manage and communicate effectively with the Project Managers, Superintendents, and Site Managers regarding quality control performance issues.
• Avoid schedule delays by assisting the Project Manager in preparing and executing Request for Information (RFIs) requests with designers and engineers when site issues arise.
• Assist the Project Manager in identifying potential disputes and claims and determining an acceptable resolution.
• Ensure project documents and deliverables are complete and accurate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science
• Minimum of 2 years experience within the last 10 years as a Construction CQC
• Minimum of 8 years construction experience within the last 10 years as a Construction CQC or Superintendent
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a site Quality Control Manager on DOD Fuels System construction and repair projects, including POL construction projects, API 653 tank repairs, tank cleaning, API 570 pipeline repairs, and environmental related improvements/repairs.
• Experience in DoD construction projects with USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC, ANG, AF Reserve, US Coast Guard, and other related agencies.
• Familiarity with API 653, API 570, STI, ASME B16.5, and ASME 31.3.
• Knowledge of USACE Construction Quality Control Management system and methods.
• Experience in military or commercial/industrial fuels background with 5 years aviation Fuel System Maintenance and Operations experience.

Pay

$115,000 - $130,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position with occasional travel to various job sites.
