About the role

This is a skilled position involving fueling, servicing and maintaining road construction equipment and mechanical equipment such as trucks, trailers, paving machines, bulldozers, asphalt paving and other equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
• Fuel equipment as needed.
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Replaces filters as needed.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Oils and Lubricates equipment and cleans parts.
• Starts devices to test their performance.

Requirements

• CDL Class B with Hazmat required.
