Responsibilities

  • Help develop strategies and tactics that drive value across the fuels business.
  • Use data-driven insights and continuous improvement principles to support recommendations, define clear actions, and improve execution within Fuel Supply and Logistics.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for fuel supply and logistics software platforms (Gravitate BestBuy, Pricing Engine, Wholesale Pricing Engine, Crossroads, PDS, etc.), including driving system adoption, optimizing system usage, leading regular reviews, managing issues, supporting enhancements, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert to support fuel system and operational integration activities related to company acquisitions.
  • Build strong partnerships and foster collaboration across Fuel Supply, Fuel Logistics, and supporting teams to proactively identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support fuel supply plan optimization, execution, reporting, and implementation in partnership with Supply and Logistics.
  • Partner with Fuel Supply and Logistics to manage and monitor key metrics that inform decision making and performance improvement.
  • Collaborate across Fuel and the Organization to drive successful delivery of Fuel’s strategic initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work-related experience; preferred fields include Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or a related area.
  • At least five years of experience in supply chain, transportation, or business operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, and PowerBI, to support analysis, reporting, and insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage cross-functionally and build effective working relationships.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and translate insights into clear recommendations that support business and financial decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address issues, evaluate options, and drive timely, practical solutions.
  • Effective time and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong business and technical acumen with the ability to apply data, systems knowledge, and continuous improvement principles to drive results.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Proven ability to build trust-based relationships through transparency, accountability, and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within federal, state, and local regulatory environments, including hazardous materials transportation and hours of service requirements.

Pay

Starting pay range: $64,500 – $84,600. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience, education, qualifications, local prevailing wages, and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. The full salary range for this role extends beyond the hiring range listed.
