Fuel Center Clerk

About the role

Assist customers and manage the cash register while maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the fuel center. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays and maintain cleanliness of the department
• Perform cashier functions, including handling transactions and answering telephones
• Comply with corporate policies and all safety guidelines and standards
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers, and procedures
• Recover stock and maintain compliance documentation
• Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults

Requirements

• Minimum familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
