Fuel Center Clerk

About the Role

Assist customers, manage the cash register, and maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the fuel center. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety guidelines while demonstrating core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage excellent customer service
• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays and maintain department cleanliness
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies and safety guidelines
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers, and procedures
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, non-confrontational, and cooperative manner
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues
• Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work without direct supervision

• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure
