FTA Sweeper Nights

About the role

As a Sweeper, you will use an electric ride on pallet jack to move pallets around the warehouse. You will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate an electric riding pallet jack.
• Assist in unloading cross dock trailers.
• Ensure the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors is being accomplished.
• Load, unload, and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of warehouse facility.
• Monitor pallet construction and ensure load quality.
• Prioritize work within your assigned zone.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Physical demands

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift.
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 – 60 lbs. or more.
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead.
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height.
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools.

Work environment

Grocery (Dry Goods) – about 50°- 90°.

Pay

• $17 per hour
• Weekly pay

Schedule

3rd Shift - Wednesday Midnight-6:30am, Thursday, Friday & Saturday 6:30pm-6:30am.
