FTA Incentive Lift Dayshift

Stand-up Forklift Operators support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse, playing an important part in our safe and efficient daily operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift/reach truck to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse
• Accurately track inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology
• Stack and rotate merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment
• Replenish pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
• Stage finished product in designated storage areas
• Load and unload merchandise from trailers
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

Work Environment

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, and pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Frequently lifting product weighing between 1–60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box-cutting tools
• Frozen environment (about -20° to 0°)

Requirements

• One or more years of experience operating material handling equipment
• Previous experience on reach truck/stand-up forklift required
• Strong sense of safety and ability to follow standard safety procedures
• Team-oriented outlook with a passion for helping others
• Desire to work with a team to support causes that positively impact communities
• Ability and willingness to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures
• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

Pay

$19/hour + incentive pay upon graduation.

Schedule

Full-time, day shift (overtime as required). Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:30 AM–6:30 PM & Wednesday 6:30 AM–Noon.
