About the Role
As a Full-Time Lovesac Sales Associate, you will create a welcoming and engaging in-store experience, helping customers design our products to fit their style and space. Responsibilities
- Act as a role model by expertly engaging with customers and demonstrating sales techniques and customer service standards to build brand loyalty.
- Lead by example through exceptional client engagement, proactive selling, and commitment to achieving sales goals while fostering a positive team environment.
- Guide customers from initial interest to purchase, focusing on managing quotes, closing sales, and maintaining relationships.
- Collaborate with team members to review open customer quotes and follow up to drive conversion, ensuring a seamless sales experience.
- Champion new company initiatives (e.g., products, promotions) to drive adoption, engagement, and sales performance.
- Consistently achieve personal sales goals and key performance indicators while inspiring others through collaboration and motivation.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge, effectively demoing, assisting, and educating customers.
- Proactively conduct customer outreach using company-provided tools and communication methods.
- Quickly identify and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a welcoming and visually appealing store by following visual merchandising standards.
- Support store operations, including opening/closing, inventory, exchanges, marketing, and promotions, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Utilize company tools, sales data, and reports to prioritize tasks and support daily operations.
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain standards, minimize risks, and ensure store safety.
- Assist Store Management with additional responsibilities, including service or operational functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- High-school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail sales or customer service.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient in using technology for sales and customer support, including product demonstrations and internal CRM systems.
- Support Lovesac’s omnichannel customer experience by assisting in-person at your home store, local stores, and third-party vendors.
- Ability to travel locally to stores, third-party vendors, and occasional meetings using various forms of transportation.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in handling financial transactions, sensitive data, and customer privacy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner.
- Physical ability to move objects (including furniture up to 75 pounds) and perform tasks such as bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, crawling, and climbing.

Pay
Associate pay varies based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill level, and competencies. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours worked over 40 in a work week or on holidays.
