• Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Classified Space Officers in the Melbourne, Florida area.
• These positions offer a pay range of $22.00-$24.00/hr - paid weekly.
• Pay will be discussed during the interview process if selected.
• Active Government Secret Clearance or higher is required.

Requirements

• Active Government Secret Clearance or higher (Required)
• Florida Class D Security License (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Exceptional report-writing abilities
• Ability to analyze situations, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Read, understand, and follow written instructions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and in all weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and a professional appearance

Duties

A Security Officer may perform a variety of duties as outlined in the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Officers will be expected to thoroughly review and become knowledgeable of all Post Orders and SOPs and be able to respond quickly and efficiently in accordance with established directives.
