About the role
Hannaford Supermarkets started out as a fresh produce vendor in Portland, Maine in 1883, and remains deeply connected to those roots as a local market. We actively seek out farmers and producers to join our Local program, celebrating local foods, farmland preservation, traditions, and jobs. Our commitment to sourcing fresh foods sustainably led us to become the first major U.S. supermarket to document that all seafood products were sustainably harvested.
