About the role

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and verify prescriptions in accordance with state and federal laws, ethical standards, and company policies
  • Provide compassionate, knowledgeable counseling to patients about prescription and over-the-counter medications
  • Serve as a trusted connection between patients, healthcare providers, and your local community
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient and company information
  • Support and contribute to pharmacy growth initiatives and community outreach efforts
  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
  • Administer immunizations and provide other health services as permitted by state law
  • Coach, mentor, and support pharmacy technicians and team members in delivering excellent service
  • Collaborate with store and pharmacy leadership to achieve operational goals

Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Active pharmacist license and immunization certification in good standing with the state board
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Comprehensive understanding of federal and state pharmacy regulations
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and community care
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
