FT or PT Nanny

About the role

Are you a natural with kids? Whether you're a seasoned nanny, babysitter, daycare pro, retired teacher, or simply someone who loves spending time with children, we want YOU on our on-call nanny squad!

Responsibilities

• Engage and entertain children in families' homes
• Assist with school homework (up to 5th-grade Math and English assignments)
• Communicate effectively with parents and coworkers
• Provide support during regular and emergency situations
• Bring a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for transportation
• Receive a Kid-Kit filled with age-appropriate activities and games

Requirements

• At least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience with children ages infant and up
• Able to assist with school homework (up to 5th-grade Math and English assignments)
• Available at least three days per week to work between 7am - 7pm
• Bring 3 references, 2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, as well as 1 character reference
• At least 18 years of age or older
• Reliable and dependable

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• High School Diploma or GED

• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities

Working Conditions and Requirements

• Active, kid-centric environment including clean-up of activities
• May need to spend time outside, weather permitting, and engage in active play
• Requires regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
• May need to react quickly to certain situations
• Must be able to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective, and safe manner
