FT or PT Nanny

About the role

Are you a natural with kids? Whether you're a seasoned nanny, babysitter, daycare pro, retired teacher, or simply someone who loves spending time with children, we want YOU on our on-call nanny squad!

Responsibilities

• Engage and entertain children in various activities
• Communicate effectively with parents and coworkers
• Assist with school homework (up to 5th-grade Math and English assignments)
• Provide childcare for infants and older children
• Bring at least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience
• Provide references from previous childcare experiences
• Be available at least three days per week from 7am - 7pm
• Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable and dependable

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• High School Diploma or GED

Skills

• Enthusiasm for working with children
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to assist with school-related tasks
• Experience with infants and older children

Working Conditions and Requirements

• Active, kid-centric environment including clean-up of activities
• May spend part of the day outside, weather permitting, and engage in active play
• Requires lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
• May need to react quickly to certain situations
• Must be able to react calmly and effectively to emergent situations
