FT or PT Nanny

About the role

Are you a natural with kids? Whether you're a seasoned nanny, babysitter, daycare pro, retired teacher, or simply someone who loves spending time with children, we want YOU on our on-call nanny squad!

Responsibilities

• Engaging, creative, and child-focused activities in families' homes
• Communicating effectively with parents and coworkers
• Assisting with school homework (up to 5th-grade Math and English assignments)
• Providing references and completing required certifications
• Building relationships with families and advancing in the childcare field

Requirements

• Available at least three days per week to work between 7am - 7pm
• Able to assist with school homework (up to 5th-grade Math and English assignments)
• Bring at least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience with children ages infant and up
• Provide 3 references, 2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, as well as 1 character reference
• At least 18 years of age or older
• Reliable and dependable for families

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• High School Diploma or GED

Skills

• Communication skills
• Childcare experience
• Ability to lift 35 pounds safely
• Quick reaction to certain situations
• Calmness under pressure

Working Conditions and Requirements

• Active, kid-centric environment including clean up of activities
• May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
• Regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
• Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
