About the role

Posting for a Radiologic Technologist position at Samaritan Hospital, an affiliate of St. Peter's Health Partners. The role is full-time on the night shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic, CT, MRI, or ultrasound examinations in accordance with departmental standards.
• Operate and adjust imaging equipment as needed.
• Explain procedures to patients, position patients and equipment appropriately.
• Interact with physicians, staff, and others to ensure efficient and service-oriented operation.
• Perform all job functions in a courteous and professional manner consistent with the organization’s mission and goals.

Requirements

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Current ARRT registration and New York State license required or eligible.

Pay

Pay range: $36.10–$49.36 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
