About the role
Lakeland Behavioral Health is hiring experienced LPNs in Springfield, MO. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and administer basic care
- Collaborate with others to meet patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, coworkers, and healthcare providers
- Provide safe medication administration
- Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress accurately
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- One or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility (preferred)
- Current LPN/LVN license as required by state
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification (required, training available upon hire)

- Compliance with facility and corporate policies and procedures
- Ability to provide nursing care and services within the scope of practice as defined by the state Nurse Practice Act
