Responsibilities

• Inspect all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniform including nametag, gloves, and goggles
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards consistently
• Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately
• Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents
• Perform all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning
• Verify and update the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift
• Randomly select assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness
• Perform opening and closing shift duties
• Notify GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary
• Monitor cleanliness of the hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances
• Act as Manager on Duty when required
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years in a leadership Housekeeping position
• Minimum of high school education, post-high school education preferred

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills

Pay

Compensation range: $21.75 per hour
