FT Housekeeper
About the role
The Housekeeper at MBK Senior Living is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for both residents and staff. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of cleaning protocols and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of housekeeping duties, including cleaning and sanitizing resident apartments, common areas, and offices.
- Dust, fluff, and straighten furniture in public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Maintain safety and security by removing caution and safety signs before performing tasks and disposing of them promptly.
- Manage waste and supply inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling of hazardous materials.
- Ensure work areas are safe and tidy by storing equipment and tools after use.
- Assist in marketing the community by interacting positively with residents, family members, and guests.
- Report resident needs, concerns, or repair requirements to the appropriate department.
- Perform laundry services for residents as scheduled or needed.
- Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred.
- Age 18 or over.
- Completed background checks, health screenings, and negative TB tests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 250 pounds.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
