FT Floor Tech

About the role

As a Floor Technician at Aventura at Walton Hills, you play a key role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Keep floors clean, polished, and safe throughout the facility
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors (vinyl, tile, and more)
• Operate equipment like auto scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
• Respond quickly to spills and safety hazards
• Complete floor projects with minimal disruption to residents
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines
• Maintain equipment and report any issues
• Support the Environmental Services team as needed

Requirements

Experience with floor care (healthcare or long-term care preferred), knowledge of stripping, waxing, and buffing techniques, ability to safely operate floor care equipment, strong attention to detail and safety, dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented are required.
