About the role
Primary responsibility is to capture high-quality photographic documentation of trucks and equipment. Secondary responsibilities include assisting with washing, cleaning, and detailing trucks and equipment to maintain a professional appearance.
Responsibilities
- Take high-quality photographic documentation of trucks and equipment.
- Wash and detail interior and exterior of trucks and equipment.
- Safely move trucks in and out of the shop and around the yard to their designated area.
- Communicate with supervisor to prioritize demand and tasks.
- Use and maintain all necessary shop and personal equipment required to complete tasks.
- Keep shop area and yard neat, clean, and organized.
- Apply working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements, including referring to MSDS when using chemicals and wearing required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, etc.).
- Collaborate with all departments harmoniously.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a bonus).
- Ability to operate a high-pressure washing system and other detailing tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely drive large trucks and equipment through the yard.
- Proficiency with smart devices for photography, communication, and task completion.
- Ability to recognize defects, deficiencies, and issues while washing and photographing trucks and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, and communicate effectively with employees and customers.
- Problem-solving skills for practical situations with limited standardization.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong initiative and desire to learn.
Desired Experience
- Operation of light and heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
- Detailing and washing experience.
- Use of smart devices for communication and task management.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Frequently required to move about the facility, lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds (assistance or equipment required for weights over 100 pounds).
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, moving equipment, and vibration.
- Occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
