About the role

Prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to the physician’s orders and established policies and procedures. Ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Report and record medication administration in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of quality care for residents.

Requirements

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions.
• Previous skilled nursing home experience.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
