FT Certified Caregiver

Terraces of Phoenix, a HumanGood community in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Certified Caregiver. Our Certified Caregivers actively incorporate our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care,” developing awareness of residents’ interests and needs while assisting them to maximize independence and participation. Responsibilities include providing exemplary care ranging from basic needs to activities of daily living and recreational activities, and helping create a safe environment for resident care.

Schedule

Friday - Monday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Pay

$18.55 - $22.30 per hour based on experience

Requirements

• Current Caregiver training in Arizona
• Current CPR certification
• Prior nursing experience with Assisted Living or Memory Support preferred

Responsibilities

• Attends in-service training workshops and meetings as required
• Accurately reports unusual symptoms and problems of residents to supervisor
• Cooperates with dietary staff and provides general assistance with resident meals and clean-up, including setting tables, serving meals, clearing tables, and straightening the dining room after meals
• Supports resident participation in all activities related to food and meal preferences and maintains relationships with dietary staff
• Performs light housekeeping tasks as required
• Assists nurses and other staff as needed
• Documents on daily records
