Ralph Lauren Corporation is seeking enthusiastic Cashiers to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who want to make a difference by providing exceptional customer service and transaction processing in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Create exceptional customer experiences by greeting customers warmly and handling inquiries professionally.
- Cross-sell and upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Share product knowledge and passion for Ralph Lauren fashion with customers.
- Process all sales transactions efficiently, including cash, credit, debit, and checks.
- Validate and inspect returned merchandise, ensuring it is in saleable condition and eligible for return.
- Escalate concerns to management as needed.
- Manage promotional offers and coupon redemption accurately.
- Execute Ship to Home orders with precision.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensure accurate salesperson data capture.
- Process merchandise professionally, including scanning, folding, and bagging.
- Maintain cleanliness of cash wrap, queue line, and surrounding areas.
- Support visual merchandising standards following company guidelines.
- Provide feedback to management on product and category opportunities.
Requirements
- Customer service and sales experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap, and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs., and climb moderately.
- Ability to operate the register, stand, move, and walk for multiple hours.
- Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which may include day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel (as required).
- Positive and inclusive attitude, able to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
