The Neighborhood Learning Center in Purcellville, VA is hiring a FT Assistants Older Infant & Older Toddler Classes to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $16 – $19/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Constantly supervise children during activities, including playtime, meals, and transitions.
• Support daily routines such as diapering, handwashing, and meal preparation, tailored to the age of the children in your classroom.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement daily educational activities and lesson plans.
• Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child.

Requirements

• Willingness to be trained and learn
• Reliable transportation
• Able to bend, twist, sit on the floor, and lift up to 30 pounds
• Able to work as part of a team
• Enjoys working with children
• 18 years old or older

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a childcare setting is highly valued.

Pay
